X-Fade

X Fade, whose real name is Joan van den Hoek, began his DJ career in 1998, influenced by the harder dance music styles of the mid 1990s. Originating from the Netherlands, he initially played hardcore at local parties and drew musical inspiration from Belgian jump sounds, now often described as freestyle. Around the turn of the millennium, he organized harddance events in his hometown of Zierikzee and secured a resident DJ position at a club in Renesse, continuing to play regularly there after the club was renamed.

Over the years, X Fade has performed at numerous events across Holland, Belgium, and Germany. He has been involved with a variety of harddance gatherings such as Glorification, Club X on Tour, Bassrulers, Survival of The Hardest, and Banging Tunes. His sets are noted for fast mixing, exclusive track selections, and a focus on harder dance music genres that engage both mind and body. The artist has been part of the Da New Stylers group, contributing to the hardstyle and hardcore scenes in the region with his live performances.
