Rombout

Rombout is an Amsterdam based DJ and producer who has been active in electronic music since the 1990s. Together with Kiki Toao, he forms a duo known for a broad and adventurous approach to DJing and producing. Their collaboration began in 2003 when they met as resident DJs at Club Amuse, which marked the start of a longstanding creative partnership. Rombout has played regularly at venues such as Paradiso with Subunited and has built extensive experience across Amsterdam's electronic music scene over more than two decades.

Their musical style covers a wide range of electronic dance music with a foundation in breakbeat and electro, often characterized by a dark and moody atmosphere. Besides their work as individual DJs, they co founded The Shamaniac Movement and are involved in organizing parties and performing at various events, including notable venues and festivals like Lowlands and Dance Valley. Their sound and event activities reflect an interest in both classic and experimental electronic genres, encompassing aspects of techno and psychedelic influences as well.
