Michel Strictly Techno

Michel Hoogendoorn, known as Michel Strictly Techno, is a Rotterdam rooted techno DJ and organiser whose story is closely tied to the Strictly Techno name. He co founded Strictly Techno Rotterdam in 1994 and has been playing vinyl since 1996, placing him within the Dutch techno culture that grew through record shops, club nights and underground events. His path also reached beyond Rotterdam, with a period in Kyiv where he was connected to underground Club Cinema and later Hardline events in Russia.

His sound sits firmly in Techno, Electronic and Minimal, with a strong focus on vinyl selection and the direct movement of older and newer techno records in the mix.
