Guiding Ark Soundsystem

Guiding Ark Soundsystem is a reggae soundsystem collective originating from Den Bosch. Established in 2014, the group created a handmade sound system comprising four scoops and thick speaker boxes. They combine vinyl selections with live MCs and musicians, aiming to deliver positive energy through their music sessions. Over the years, they have hosted regular events like the "Dubbing Is A Must" series and performed alongside other soundsystems across the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany. Their activity includes public dance events that focus on reggae classics and newer dub styles.

Their musical style centers on conscious reggae, roots reggae, and dub, emphasizing a mixture of old and contemporary tracks with a dedicated approach to roots culture. Guiding Ark has functioned as a provider of roots and conscious music in various venues, including Willem Twee in Den Bosch, Poppodium Phoenix in Breda, and Slachthuis in Haarlem. They are recognized for their regular collaborations and for maintaining a consistent selection that prioritizes messages of awareness and cultural depth within the reggae and dub scenes.
